Student Government Application

Student Government positions:

• President
• Vice President
• Communications Director
• Treasurer

Compensation includes a bi-weekly stipend in the form of a check. For the summer, compensation will be in the amount of $1000. Compensation for the fall and winter will be in the amount of $4872 but will be determined with the new budget in September but has . Students placed in a position after the start of the semester will receive a prorated compensation.

Applications completed in full will be considered for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Eligibility:

• Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
• Be in good academic and conduct standing at GRCC (no probationary status)
• Be enrolled in at least 6 credits during both the Fall and Winter semesters
• Be available during set meeting times during the Summer, Fall and Winter semesters

Positions are compensated and, therefore, require ten (10) working hours

• Eight (8) office hours per week (to be determined upon individual availability)
• Two (2) meeting hours per week (to be determined upon team availability)

Considerations for an interview will be given to applicants who do not have conflicts with their enrolled classes. This form will remain open and applicants will be contacted when there is an open opportunity.
